Transformer Rectifier Cum Control Panel Units For Electromagnet

ISC Control panel for electro magnets is completely solid state. The control system includes rectification of AC to DC and has surge suppressors to take care of the surges created during operation of the electromagnet. The input to the control panel is AC Three Phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz

For effective cable management, ISC provides two types of cable reeling drums: spring-driven and sprocket-driven. These drums come with standard floor mounting stands and are engineered to accommodate and reel in a 2-core EPR copper cable, rated appropriately for the specific magnet size. This design ensures safe and efficient cable handling during operation.

ISC's flexible cables are ideal for use in cranes, furnaces, trolleys, and other heavy-duty applications. Made from ethylene propylene rubber (EPR), these cables feature fine-stranded, tinned copper conductors of electrolytic grade. Manufactured according to BIS, BS, and DIN standards, ISC’s cables undergo a controlled manufacturing process to achieve optimal performance. EPR insulation offers superior thermal characteristics compared to traditional materials like cross-linked polyethylene, allowing for a smaller cross-sectional area while maintaining the same load-carrying capacity. The flexibility of these cables makes them particularly suited for environments where regular movement is required, such as in the mining and steel industries, as well as for temporary installations.

ISC also provides DC contactors equipped with a DC coil and a blow-out coil situated beneath the contact tips. When the main current flows through this setup, it generates a magnetic field that effectively blows out the charged atmospheric particles, reducing the arc plasma and minimizing the occurrence of arcing during operation.
