Safe Magnet (Unique)

ISC is proud to announce that we have developed a revolutionary magnet called “ISC Safe Magnet” for lifting of plates and billets with electrical power and this unit does not need any huge bank of batteries for back-up power in case of power failures/interruptions. ISC Safe magnet is constructed in modules and four modules are attached to one lifting beam to make a unit of 2100 mm x 900 mm. Each module comprises cells and each cell has a very powerful electromagnetic coil and solid pieces of magnetic material are arranged in and around the coil and embedded in bed of high insulation epoxy. Each cell is internally connected and in turn to the 100 % solid state power source designed, manufactured by ISC to establish the magnetic properties to lift magnetically permeable materials.
This cellular and modular design is to enable the customer to get replacements without scrapping the whole unit, which is and would be cost effective over a long period of use.
